Denise Julia Plans Defamation Lawsuit Against BJ Pascual and Killa Kush
DENISE JULIA – The singer is preparing to file a defamation lawsuit against BJ Pascual and Killa Kush due to statements made on the “Bad B*tch Bible” podcast.
Denise, known for her songs “B.A.D.” and “NVMD,” shared her side of the story on X, posting a full-screen recording of messages between her manager, John Vincent Salcedo, and BJ’s manager, Pearl Acuesta. She emphasized that she had nothing to hide and wanted to be transparent.
In her message, Denise expressed that she had stayed silent for as long as possible but felt the need to speak out. She explained that both she and her team had been eager to collaborate with BJ, as they were genuine fans. Denise clarified that they were upfront about their budget for the music video, photoshoots, and promotional materials from the start. She even moved the release of her EP to accommodate the collaboration, showing respect for BJ’s time.
Denise revealed that her manager had tried to salvage the project by suggesting solutions and new dates to ensure that no one’s efforts went to waste. She voiced her pain over the public attack on her character, noting that the issue was a private business negotiation between their teams that should never have been made public. She added that she believed they had agreed to address the matter privately and expressed regret that it had come to this. Denise confirmed that she was now in contact with her legal team to pursue a defamation lawsuit.
Killa Kush, the podcast host, had mentioned in the episode that she was disappointed by Denise’s behavior, referring to her as “the worst celebrity to shoot.” Kush explained that the podcast aimed to spark candid discussions but not to humiliate anyone. Denise responded by indicating her intention to see Kush in court, adding that any further TikTok content related to the situation would also be included in the lawsuit.
