Comedian’s Home Targeted by Burglar on Christmas Eve
UNINVITED GUEST – A comedian and TV host experienced a terrifying ordeal on Christmas Eve when an alleged burglar broke into their home, overshadowing what was meant to be a joyful celebration. The family had just returned from church and was preparing for their traditional Noche Buena, a special dinner that gathers loved ones to welcome Christmas.
During an interview, the comedian, who chose to remain anonymous and declined to appear on camera, recounted the incident: “Naghahanda na para sa Noche Buena. Kumakain-kain na. Kagagaling lang naming magsimba. Pinasok kami ng isang naka-posas na indibidwal. Nakapasok siya ng walang pahintulot. Luckily, na-restrain naman namin at nakatawag kami ng mga security at mga pulis,” the comedian said, still visibly shaken. Despite the shock, the family acted quickly, subduing the intruder and calling for help. Security personnel and police arrived soon after to handle the situation.
When asked about their emotions during the incident, the comedian admitted to feeling both fear and anxiety: “Kalmado naman ang lahat, ano, pero siyempre hindi naman natin maisasantabi na matakot, lalo na yung mga kababaihan at mga bata, at saka maisip mo yung mga worst-case scenario,” they shared.
The unexpected intrusion added tension to what should have been a peaceful and joyous night. However, the comedian expressed gratitude that no one was harmed, crediting the family’s quick thinking and teamwork.
