ROBIN PADILLA – The senator shared a humorous story about Senator Bato dela Rosa’s worn-out shoes, calling him the “pinakamatigas na senator” (the toughest senator).
In a Facebook post on November 5, Padilla posted pictures of Dela Rosa holding the detached sole of his shoe, joking about the senator’s height and his “overworked” footwear. Padilla mentioned that he wanted the shoes as a keepsake for a museum, but Dela Rosa declined, saying he planned to have them repaired.
Padilla also quipped that he initially thought Dela Rosa was from the Visayas region, only to find out they both share Ilocano roots. This playful exchange highlights the camaraderie between the two senators, both members of the Duterte-wing party PDP Laban.
