Dennis Padilla Opens Up About Longing for a Heartfelt Reunion W/ His Children
DENNIS PADILLA – Actor and comedian Dennis Padilla reveals his deep desire to reconnect with his estranged children through an open and honest conversation.
Actor-comedian Dennis Padilla remains hopeful for a long and meaningful conversation with his children Julia Barretto, Claudia Barretto, and Leon Barretto. The three are his children with his ex-wife, Marjorie Barretto.
Despite their strained relationship, Dennis believes there is still a space in their hearts for him and hopes for reconciliation through open communication.
In a candid interview on the YouTube channel of broadcaster Julius Babao on November 21, 2024, Dennis shared his longing to reconnect with his children. He even displayed his collection of magazine covers featuring Julia, a testament to his pride and admiration for her achievements.
When asked when he last spoke to Julia in person, Dennis revealed that it had been four years. Reflecting on his desire for a heartfelt dialogue, he said, “sana ma-sit down ba na I will listen to them first.
“Maybe I can give them the first two hours and then, pagkatapos nila, ako naman ang magsasalita for another two hours.
“Pero I can summarize that in 30 minutes maybe.”

Dennis Padilla acknowledged the challenges in their relationship but expressed optimism about rebuilding their bond. He noted that his children occasionally greet him, a gesture that fuels his hope.
“Yes, I want a longer conversation with them. Na walang editing. Walang editing.
“Hopeful ako na magkaroon kami ng long talk. Na open and civil, di ba?
“Without, you know, wag nang, wag nang banggitin yung mga heartaches.
“Ang pagkwentuhan na lang natin is yung buhay ko ngayon, buhay niyo ngayon, yun na lang ang pag-usapan.”
The actor remains positive about the possibility of reconciliation and hopes to create a more harmonious relationship with his children. For Dennis, a sincere and open dialogue is the first step toward healing and understanding.
