Snoop Dogg Responds to His Kalokalike on It’s Showtime
SNOOP DOGG – The American rapper reacted to his Kalokalike on the noontime program, It’s Showtime.
Snoop Dogg is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, media personality, and actor. He rose to fame in 1992 with his collaboration on Dr. Dre’s debut single “Deep Cover” and the subsequent album The Chronic. Known for his smooth voice and laid-back style, he has sold over 23 million albums in the United States and 35 million worldwide, earning numerous accolades, including an American Music Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and 17 Grammy nominations.
His debut studio album, Doggystyle, released in 1993, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and was certified quadruple platinum. He has continued to release successful albums throughout his career, including Tha Doggfather and several others under various labels, including Death Row Records and No Limit Records.
Beyond music, Snoop Dogg has ventured into television and film, hosting shows and appearing in movies. He briefly adopted the persona of Snoop Lion in 2012 after converting to Rastafari, releasing a reggae album titled Reincarnated in 2013. In 2018, he released his first gospel album, Bible of Love, and acquired Death Row Records in 2022.
Recently, Snoop Dogg reposted a clip of his Kalokalike, Carlos Sintyoco, being interviewed on It’s Showtime, praising him in the caption. Carlos humorously shared that his mother said he was conceived while watching Snoopy, and when asked to sing, he struggled with the unfinished song “Smoke Bomb,” which made the audience laugh.
Carlos, a tricycle driver from Tondo, Manila, won the daily segment alongside another impersonator. He performed the intro to Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s “The Next Episode” and danced to Snoop’s choreography. Snoop is the second international artist to acknowledge their Kalokalikes, following Bruno Mars, who recognized Cebuano impersonator Kent Villarba earlier in October.
