During a Fight Scene for ‘Panda Plan,’ Jackie Chan Faints
JACKIE CHAN – The action star raised concern among fans after a behind-the-scenes video from his upcoming film “Panda Plan” went viral, showing him fainting during a fight scene.
In the footage, the legendary action star, 70, was seen in a headlock by his co-star before losing consciousness. His scene partner quickly let go, and crew members rushed to help him. When Chan woke up, he looked confused and didn’t realize he had fainted. He asked a crew member, “What are we doing?” and found it hard to believe he had passed out.
Jackie Chan suggested that his fainting might have happened because he was holding his breath during the stunt. Despite the scare, he reassured everyone that he was fine, and they continued filming the scene. In an interview, he stressed the importance of letting the production team know he was okay, as he didn’t want to use a stunt double. He felt guilty about sitting back while someone else did the stunts for him.
Many fans expressed their worries in the comments on the viral video, suggesting it might be time for the action star to retire from dangerous stunts and let younger performers take over. Comments included sentiments like, “Please take care of yourself, my favorite Superstar of all Time,” and reminders of his age, urging him to prioritize his health.
Recently, Jackie Chan celebrated his 70th birthday in April, reflecting on his long career in the entertainment industry. He shared gratitude for being able to grow older, highlighting the importance of life experiences. This incident serves as a reminder of the physical toll that performing risky stunts can take, even on experienced actors like Chan, who are known for their commitment to their craft.
