Barbie Imperial Reacts to Pages Posting Negativity and False Information
BARBIE IMPERIAL – The actress spoke out against social media pages that focus on spreading negativity and false information to attract attention and earn money.
In a post, Barbie expressed her frustration about the increasing number of such pages, claiming they use lies and insults to gain followers and profit. While she understands that people need to make a living, she disagrees with doing so through dishonesty.
She also highlighted how public engagement—comments, likes, and shares—helps these pages grow, urging people to be more cautious about their social media actions. Barbie is disheartened that attacking others has become a marketing strategy for some, and she noted that many people believe the wrong information without verifying its accuracy.
In her message, Barbie encouraged her followers to be more careful about what they read online and not believe everything they see. She reminded them to think critically and fact-check before engaging with or sharing content that could be harmful or misleading.
Meanwhile, Barbie Concina Imperial is an actress known for her notable roles in television and film. She first gained attention in 2015 when she joined Pinoy Big Brother: 737 and was dubbed “The Doll along the Riles of Albay” due to her doll-like appearance. Her breakthrough came when she played lead roles in popular dramas, including Araw Gabi, where she portrayed Michelle Verano alongside JM de Guzman.
Barbie has appeared in various television shows such as Maalaala Mo Kaya, Ipaglaban Mo!, and Wansapanataym, taking on both protagonist and antagonist roles. Her most recent role is in the hit series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, where she plays Tisay, a singer and gambler.
