House in Cavite Belonging to the Yulo Family is Up for Sale
FOR SALE – The Yulo family’s property in Cavite, which has been a source of disagreement between Carlos Yulo and his mother, is now up for sale.
The property, located in a subdivision in Imus, Cavite, was bought several years ago by the Yulo family. According to a post by a relative of Mrs. Angelica Yulo, the two-story house is now available for potential buyers. The property features many portraits and awards of Carlos Yulo displayed in the living room and on the second floor, including a large portrait from his gold medal win at the 2021 Gymnastics World Championships.
However, the house has been neglected for some time, as the Yulo family has mainly lived on Leveriza Street in Manila. This neglect is visible in the dirty bathroom, with grime on the floor and a yellowing toilet bowl.
The sale of this property is significant because it was reportedly one of the reasons for the conflict between Carlos and his parents. Mrs. Angelica Yulo bought the property as an investment to ensure Carlos’s future.
She wanted the house to be a lasting reminder of his successes and earnings. She advised her children to invest their cash incentives in tangible things they could remember their achievements by, which was the purpose behind purchasing the Cavite property.
“In-invest namin sa bahay para diba makita din niya [at] pwede mong masabi na ‘ay may remembrance ako sa pera ko’ kasi ‘yan ang sinasabi ko sa mga anak ko everytime na magkakaroon sila ng cash incentive, malaki o maliit, sinasabihan ko sila na bumili kayo ‘yung meron maalala niyo na ‘Ah galing ito sa palarong pambansa, ay galing ito sa cash incentives,” she said.
As of press time, Carlos Yulo has not yet responded to the news that their house in Cavite is now up for sale.
