Content Creator Earns Praise Online for Sharing Story From Being an OFW to Fried Chicken Business Owner
KWENTONG FRIED CHICKEN – A content creator shared his inspiring journey from being an OFW to becoming a fried chicken business owner.
Jason Go Bentuzal, a former Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW), decided to take a bold step and leave his job abroad to start a fried chicken business in the Philippines. The post went viral and sparked numerous reactions online.
Bentuzal started his business with humble beginnings. After spending years abroad, he often wondered if he would spend his entire life working far from his family. He realized that although the salary abroad was high, it wasn’t a permanent solution.
Eventually, the OFW decided it was better to earn an average income but be close to his loved ones.
Starting with just a small amount of capital, Jason began selling fried chicken to his neighbors. He used simple kitchen tools, cooking at home and selling in the morning to ensure his kids had lunch money for school.
The entrepreneur’s fried chicken quickly became popular in their community, and they sold out almost daily. Encouraged by this success, he rented a small space near a school, but the business didn’t succeed.
After just nine days, he had to find another location. Despite the challenges, including rejection from other vendors and even being asked to leave by local authorities, his determination never wavered.
He continued selling his fried chicken on the roadside, and his determination paid off when he found a spot near an elementary school where his business finally succeeded.
Currently, Bentuzal’s fried chicken business has grown. His journey proves the power of perseverance, hard work, and faith. He hopes that his story will inspire others.
“Ang Negosyo ay parang Sugal , pwedi kang Matalo pwedi ka rin Manalo . Pero alam mo ba ang sikreto ko ? Dapat may hugot ka sa buhay at dapat may inspirasyon ka sa araw2 kung bakit mo sinisipagan. Pag nalaman mo na yun samahan mo na agad ng Sipag, Tyaga, at Diskarti at Syempre ipa ubaya mo sa Taas ang bawat gagawin mo sa buhay,” he said.
