AiAi Delas Alas Advises Angelica Yulo on Joining Mrs. Philippines

AiAi Delas Alas Sends Message to Angelica Yulo About Possible Mrs. Philippines Participation

AIAI DELAS ALAS – The Comedy Queen offered advice to Angelica Yulo amid talks of her potential participation in the Mrs. Philippines 2025 pageant.

Angelica Yulo, the mother of Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, has been invited to participate in the 2025 Mrs. Philippines pageant, which will take place in March. The event offers a grand prize of P150,000. The invitation came from Erika Joy Santos, the current Mrs. Philippines, who praised Angelica for her style and dedication as a mother to four athletic children.

Erika, who also runs a business, expressed her admiration for Angelica’s sacrifices in supporting her children and suggested they meet over coffee. She encouraged Angelica to focus on self-care and emphasized that time heals all wounds.

The Mrs. Philippines pageant is open to all mothers, regardless of age, size, or financial status. Erika clarified that the event is inclusive, welcoming mothers from all walks of life—whether married, single, widowed, or separated. However, single women without children are not eligible and are instead directed to other pageants in the Miss series.

AiAi Delas Alas, while confident that Angelica would excel in the pageant’s question-and-answer portion, recommended that she focus on her physical fitness before entering the competition. “Magpaseksi ka muna bago tayo sumali doon. Pero sa question ang answer, mukhang panalo ka,” said Ai-Ai. “Pero kailangan magpa-bump muna tayo, mader, para winner ka! Hindi, dapat uuwi kang winner!” she added.

The Mrs. Philippines organization has yet to receive Angelica’s official response regarding her potential entry.

Meanwhile, Angelica Yulo has been honored with the prestigious “Ulirang Ina” or Inspiring Motherhood Legacy Award during the 7th Southeast Asian Achievement Awards (SEAAA). This recognition celebrates her as an exemplary mother and acknowledges her unwavering dedication, love, and strength in raising her children.
