Text Messages Between Sandro and Jojo Nones According to Niño Muhlach
NIÑO MUHLACH – The actor shared a text conversation between his son, Sandro Muhlach, and Jojo Nones.
This text exchange, which was made public by Inquirer, is central to Niño’s claim that his son was tricked into going to a hotel room by Nones and other advisors. Niño expressed his frustration with the media’s suggestion that Sandro made the first contact. To address this, he read out the full conversation during his testimony.
The conversation began at 3:59 AM, when Nones texted Sandro, “Hi, Sandro. Saw you kanina, didn’t get to say hi. Nakauwi ka na?” Sandro replied politely, saying he hadn’t seen Nones earlier and that he was staying at the Marriott Hotel. The chat continued with Nones expressing a desire to drink more, to which Sandro agreed. Nones then invited Sandro to the Belmont Hotel, next to the Marriott, and mentioned he was working on a project where he might cast Sandro.
As the conversation progressed, Nones asked Sandro if he wanted to come to the Belmont Hotel, mentioning they had alcohol in the room and could order more if needed. Sandro, curious about who was with Nones, learned that it was just Nones by himself. The final messages from Nones included a joke about being with drama people but soon wrapping up. Sandro expressed interest in visiting, confirming he was alone and would go to Nones’ room.
Niño concluded his account by noting that Sandro did not respond further. Nones sent another text at 4:27 AM, saying he was with drama people but was just joking. Niño also shared that Sandro began struggling with depression after this incident, which has had a significant impact on him. Niño’s distress was evident, as he mentioned in a GMA report that his blood pressure spiked while he was testifying before the Senate.
