Daniel Padilla and Amanda Dating? Francis Zamora Reacts
FRANCIS ZAMORA – The San Juan mayor denied the rumors that actor Daniel Padilla is dating his daughter Amanda.
Rumors have been circulating about the actor allegedly dating Amanda, the only daughter of the San Juan mayor. A video of the two together at a mall recently went viral, prompting Mayor Zamora to address the speculation. During a press event for CHARM By DR. JOEL LOPEZ MD at Greenhills Shopping Mall on July 31, he clarified that the rumors are untrue.
Mayor Zamora stated that Amanda, who is 23, has always been single and is currently focused on her studies. She is in the U.S. starting her master’s in Marketing Intelligence at Fordham University this September. She had previously studied finance at UCLA and graduated from De La Salle University earlier this year. The mayor emphasized that these rumors are false and that he is making it clear as a father.
He also mentioned his close relationship with the Estrada and Padilla families, highlighting that he recently officiated JC Padilla’s wedding at his office in San Juan. According to him, while there have been discussions and comments linking Daniel to Amanda, there is no truth to the claims. Mayor Zamora underscored that Amanda and Daniel are not romantically involved and that he personally denies these rumors.
Francis Zamora reminisced about Amanda being a fan of Daniel Padilla during her teenage years before joining showbiz and participating in “Pinoy Big Brother: Connect” in 2020. He clarified that Amanda and Daniel might know each other through their families, but their relationship is purely platonic.
Regarding the viral photos or videos, Francis questioned their authenticity and suggested they might be mistaken or manipulated by artificial intelligence. He reiterated that Amanda has been single all her life, focusing on her career and education. He also mentioned his business partnership with Daniel and affirmed that there is no romantic link between his daughter and the actor.
