Reward Money Up in the Search for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, Other Co-Accused
APOLLO QUIBOLOY – The DILG announced that Php 15 million reward is up for info about the whereabouts of the Pastor and his co-accused.
In the Philippines, countless Filipinos surely know Pastor Quiboloy, the founder and leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ Church or the KOJC. It has devotees not only in the country but as well as in abroad. However, the founder of KOJC who claims to be the “appointed son” is currently nowhere to be found.
Pastor Quiboloy is facing several charges including the case filed for an alleged violation of the Republic Act 7610 which provides special protection for children. He has five (5) other co-accused and rerward money is up for any information that could lead to their arrest.
Pastor Apollo Quiboloy did not attend the Senate hearing. The upper chamber released an arrest order against the KOJC founder and he went missing since the order was issued. The authorities have raided several properties of the Pastor in Davao City, Samal Island, and Sarangani in the search for him.
However, to no avail, the authorities have yet to find the Pastor. Based on a report on GMA News, a Php 10 million reward money is currently up for any information that could lead to the arrest of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.
Aside from the Php 10 million reward money, another Php 5 million reward money is up for information about the co-accused of the Pastor — Php 1 million for each of the five accused. Based on the report, it was Department of Interior Local and Government Secretary Benhur Abalos who announced the reward money for information on the whereabouts of the Pastor and his co-accused.
According to Abalos, there are some “friends” of his who want to help in finding the Pastor so a reward money is up. Aside from the charges filed against him in the Philippines, he has also been indicted by a federal grand jury by a Court in the United States.
In 2022, “wanted” posters were issued by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation in the pursuit to locate Quiboloy and two (2) others who are also members of the KOJC. They are Teresita Tolibas Dandan and Helen Panilag.
