RR Enriquez has made a confession about her boyfriend, Jayjay Helterbrand
RR ENRIQUEZ – The former Wowowee dancer admitted that she only took her boyfriend, Jayjay Helterbrand, from another woman.
During a June 5, 2024, interview with Boy Abunda, RR revealed her protective nature towards her boyfriend, describing Jayjay as a womanizer. Following her confession, RR issued a public apology to Jayjay’s ex-girlfriend for her actions.
RR mentioned that Jayjay was a womanizer in the early years of their relationship, but she quickly drove away any women who showed interest in him. “So I’m not proud, hindi ako proud,” RR admitted. “Yung first two years namin medyo rocky ‘yung relationship namin. Tapos naging Christian si Jayjay. Kaya nagtagal kami ng 15 years kasi sobrang, tumino naman.” She added, “Si Jayjay sobrang happy siya na ako ‘yung girlfriend niya kasi parang ang dami ko raw personality. Exciting.”
She explained her actions were influenced by her past experiences. “Kasi siyempre bata, ‘di ba parang bata hindi ka nag-iisip. Naagawan din kasi ako ng jowa dati Tito Boy. Kaya sabi ko, ‘Ah ganoon ah? Agawan pala ng jowa ang mangyayari ha.’ So ganoon po ginagawa ko dati. Hindi ako proud pero ganoon po ‘yung ano, thinking ko,” she stated.
RR clarified that she is now friends with Jayjay’s ex-girlfriend and is thankful for being forgiven. Meanwhile, RR, whose real name is Romyreen Enriquez, rose to fame as one of the dancers on the variety and game show Wowowee. She later became one of its hosts alongside Mariel Rodriguez, Valerie Concepcion, and Pokwang.
She also became part of Banana Split. After her brief showbiz career, she ventured into business. Presently, she’s busy with her vlogs. She’s also active on social media, particularly on Instagram, where she usually posts her opinions about issues in the country, especially showbiz. Thus, she labeled herself as “SawSawera Queen.”
