In television, Coco Martin became a household name with his roles in several hit series, including “Tayong Dalawa” (2009), “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin” (2011), “Walang Hanggan” (2012), and his most iconic role as Cardo Dalisay in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” (since 2015). “Ang Probinsyano” became the longest-running Philippine television series, further establishing Martin as a superstar in Philippine TV history.

Recently, photos of a man from Cebu who closely resembles Coco Martin have been spreading on social media. These pictures originated from videos posted by the vlogging channel, Lutong Kahoy.
Viewers noted that in other videos on their page, the same man is seen wearing the same jersey shirt and displaying similar tattoos, but he doesn’t actually resemble the famous actor. This led people on social media to speculate that the vloggers might have used an app to digitally swap Coco Martin’s face onto the man’s face.
As of press time, the Kapamilya actor has yet to give his opinion about his so-called doppelgänger.
