Lists of 7th Eddys Awards Nominees for Each Film Award Category
7TH EDDYS AWARDS NOMINEES – The Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors announced the nominees for the upcoming awarding event.
One of the film entertainment award-giving bodies in the Philippines is the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors called The Eddys. Through the awarding event, the group wants to encourage local filmmakers, writers, producers, and actors to continue pursuing their craft that shows the realities of the society.
The Eddys awards night is held every year for almost seven years now. On the 7th Eddys Awards, aside from awarding the nominees that won the awards, the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors will also honor the veterans.
Eva Darren, Nova Villa, Leo Martinez, Lito Lapid, and Gina Alajar will be awarded at the awards night which will be held on July 7 at the Ceremonial Hall of the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City.
Aside from honoring the veterans, the award-giving body will also pay tribute to the late scriptwriter Carlo J. Caparas for his big contributions in the film industry in the Philippines.
