Rommel Padilla Hopes Son Daniel Can Reconcile with Ex Kathryn Bernardo

Rommel Padilla Hopes Son Daniel and Kathryn Bernardo Will Mend Their Relationship

ROMMEL PADILLA – The veteran actor expressed hope that his son, Daniel Padilla, would have the opportunity to mend his relationship with his former girlfriend, Kathryn Bernardo.

During an interview, Rommel revealed that the breakup had affected the entire Padilla family, who are hopeful that Daniel and Kathryn might rekindle their romance in the future. “Sana dumating ‘yung pagkakataon na magkita silang muli, magkaunawaan. Napakalaking panahon na nagkasama sila. Sana manumbalik pa ang kanilang pagmamahalan,” he commented. “Lahat kami[ng Padilla], hindi lang ako [ang nalulungkot],” he added.

Rommel also advised Daniel and Kathryn to take some time to reflect on their relationship. “Magmuni-muni muna sila at timbangin nila ‘yung kanilang naging pagmamahalan…dapat pa ba silang magbalikan? Ito ‘yung time na ‘yun na makikita nila kung puwede pang maging sila sa mga darating na araw,” he suggested.

Rommel, who was previously partnered with Karla Estrada and married under Muslim rites, shared that Karla gave birth to Daniel while he was incarcerated on multiple charges. Currently, he is married again to his second wife, Anabelle Antonio. Rommel explained his multiple marriages by affirming his Muslim faith, which allows polygamy.

Meanwhile, Rommel Padilla is an actor, model, businessman, politician, and movie producer. He is part of the prominent Padilla family, being one of the children of the late Governor Roy Padilla Sr. and actress Eva Cariño, alongside siblings Royette Padilla, BB Gandanghari, and Robin Padilla.

Rommel’s acting career includes notable performances in films such as “Grease Gun Gang” and “10,000 Hours,” and he has had a consistent presence on Philippine television, appearing in shows across major networks. His political career has also been notable, having served as a Member of the Nueva Ecija Provincial Board and running for higher office, although not always successfully.
