Vice Ganda Says Jackie Gonzaga Asked about “EXpecially For You”
VICE GANDA – The Unkabogable Star funnily shared his text conversation with fellow Showtime host Jackie Gonzaga over the “EXpecially For You”.
It’s Showtime is one of the longest-running noontime variety show in the Philippine showbiz industry. It is running for 14 years now and has countless avid viewers from across the nation. Not even the shutdown of the ABS-CBN network was able to stop the show from providing entertaintment to countless Filipinos nationwide and abroad. It’s Showtime now appears in GMA-7.
There were also a lot of popular Showtime hosts now whose showbiz career is greatly fueled by their being a part of the noontime variety show. One of the people who entered showbiz through the noontime show is Jackie Gonzaga.
Jackie hooked fame when she became one of the dancers in Showtime and she earned the monicker “Ate Girl”. She’s the girlfriend of Hashtags member Tom Doromal.
However, recently, breakup speculations between Tom and Jackie crossed the surface when the female host cried during a segment of It’s Showtime when the topic was about closure. Meanwhile, her co-hosts were quick to comfort her and even jested that she must join EXpecially For You.
EXpecially For You is a segment in It’s Showtime which features ex-lovers and their love stories. One of the ex-lovers will be searching for a date from three (3) people and he/she will be assisted by his/her ex-lover in making the choice based on their answers to the questions provided.
Recently, in an episode of It’s Showtime, Vice Ganda revealed his text conversation with Jackie Gonzaga over the EXpecially For You. According to the comedian, in the early hours of the morning that day, the female host texted him asking him about the talent fee if she will guest in the segment of the show.
“Meme, kapag nag-EXpecially for You ba ako, iba pa ‘yung TF ko?” Vice said referring to the text message of Jackie.
Vice Ganda said he answered in the affirmative and he even expressed a sense of regret as it can still be extra money. Their fellow Showtime hosts Jhong Hilario and Amy Perez were quick to encourage Jackie to be the segment’s guest in a special edition.
