ERIC QUIZON – The actor-director opened up about his past relationships and his bond with television personality Kris Aquino.

During an interview with entertainment journalist Aster Amoyo on her YouTube channel “TicTalk with Aster Amoyo,” Eric discussed various aspects of his personal and professional life. The son of the late Comedy King Dolphy reminisced about his youthful romance with Kris Aquino when they first met on the set of the 1991 film, “The Vizconde Massacre Story (God Help Us!),” and later worked together again in the 2004 movie “So Happy Together.”

He revealed that they dated when he was 20 and she was just 16, and he wished her well in her current endeavors. He also mentioned his relationship with veteran actress Dina Bonnevie, whom he described as delightful to talk to and a genuinely nice person. Eric emphasized that he maintains good relationships with both women despite the relationships having ended.

In addition to his romantic past, Eric shared fond memories of his father, Dolphy, highlighting how he used to write little notes to his children expressing love and missing them, especially during the 1990s when there were no cellphones. Eric noted Dolphy’s dedication to making his presence felt, regardless of the physical distance, showing how much he valued staying connected with his family.

Towards the end of the interview, Eric shifted focus to his current life aspirations. He spoke about his ongoing drive to achieve more, stressing the importance of hard work for himself and his family. He expressed a desire for his family to be self-sufficient rather than relying solely on inheritance.
