Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino’s Scene Inside the Cabinet Goes Trending
Kim Chiu spoke about her trending scene inside the cabinet with her “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” co-star Paulo Avelino.
One of the most hit loveteams in the Philippine showbiz industry now is the KimPau — the loveteam of Kapamilya stars Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino. The two (2) celebrities have worked together in at least two (2) projects that are really a hit.
Kim and Paulo work opposite each other in the hit drama television series Linlang. In the said TV series, the two (2) celebrities played the characters of a couple who had falling out in their relationship but their daughter remains the string that attaches them together even if they have separated.
Aside from Linlang, Kim and Paulo also star the Philippine adaptation of South Korea’s hit 2018 TV series What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim. The actor plays the character of Brandon Manansala “BMC / Donny” Castillo who is a company vice chairman. She plays the role of Kimberly “Kim” Liwanag, the secretary of the vice chairman.
Recently, a scene of Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino taken inside a cabinet went trending on social media. The What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim stars were asked about the trending scene.
During a candid interview with ABS-CBN, when asked how many takes it took them to get the perfect shot of the cabinet scene, Kim answered that it took them one take only. According to Paulo, the other shot was the backshot as they really want it to be beautiful for the viewers.
Kim Chiu was also asked if the cabinet scene with Paulo Avelino was either easy or difficult but the Kapamilya star has a different answer as she said that it’s normal since the people are expecting it from the very start.
“Grabe naman ‘yung difficult at easy. Normal… Siyempre, hindi pa nagsisimula ‘yung “Secretary Kim”, ‘yan na yung iniisip na palabas na mga tao, ‘yung fan talaga ng show,” the actress said.
What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim will air on free TV beginning May 25. Based on the report, the newest poster of the series was recently unveiled. It was designed by Justin Besana and shot by Aileen Yatco.
Paulo expressed that he loves the moving papers while the background was still and says that Kim looks like the boss in the poster — to which the Kapamilya actress jokingly replied, “Hindi ba?”.
