The man is a German national. He is currently visiting his wife, known only by the name Tuk. In an interview with the Thai TV program Ruang Lao Sao Arthit, Tuk mentioned that she noticed a strong resemblance between her husband, Andreas, and Keanu Reeves.

Originally, Andreas had blonde hair, but Tuk suggested he dye his hair and beard black to look more like Keanu. Her husband agreed. Tuk’s idea worked because since then, wherever they go, people request to take pictures with Andreas. They say he really does look like the Hollywood superstar.

When Tuk and Andreas went to her family home in Pak Chong district in the province of Nakhon Ratchasima for a vacation, the reaction from her fellow villagers was the same.

Tuk recorded videos of Andreas dressed as John Wick and uploaded them to her TikTok channel, tuktiklife.

However, she mentioned that the idea of her husband working as a street food seller came from Andreas himself. In the nine videos uploaded by Tuk, Andreas can be seen making coffee, selling grilled squid, washing dishes used by customers, and visiting Wat Arun in Bangkok dressed in traditional Thai clothing.

Andreas has a strong appeal on social media, with each of Tuk’s videos garnering millions of views—enough to make her husband a local celebrity.

Based on a report from PEP, when interviewed by Thai media, Andreas expressed his gratitude to Tuk’s fellow citizens for their warm welcome.

He told reporters, “Thai people are lovely, especially my wife.”
