Rosmar Tan Gives House and Lot, 1 Million Pesos to Diwata
DIWATA – The social media personality and entrepreneur received a house and lot and 1 million pesos from Rosmar Tan.
Diwata is a social media personality and entrepreneur known for selling pares, a Filipino beef stew served with rice. Originally from the province of Samar in the Philippines, Diwata moved to Manila to seek better opportunities. His entrepreneurial journey, marked by hardship and resilience, included living under a bridge and working various jobs, such as a construction worker and a beautician, before finding success with his 24-hour pares business.
Earlier, Rosemarie Tan Pamulaklakin personally visited Diwata’s pares stand in Pasay City to give him some gifts. The street food vendor couldn’t help but become emotional while receiving the one million pesos in cash from Rosmar.
In addition to the money, he also received a house and lot. Netizens celebrate the latest achievement of the social media personality and entrepreneur. Others are praying that Diwata will remain humble amid his massive success, especially with his pares business. Besides selling street food, Diwata has ventured into show business, becoming part of the top-rated series, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, starring and directed by Coco Martin.
Meanwhile, Rosmar clarified that she did not leave any items bearing her brand name at Diwata’s location because her intention is not to use Diwata’s name to promote her own brand. Her motivation is purely to help, not to exploit.
Previously, Rosmar Tan launched her very own pares business located at her R Mansion Resort & Restobar in Laguna, offering meals for just ₱100, featuring popular dishes like lechon kawali and chicharon bulaklak. This deal includes all-you-can-eat java or plain rice, broth, and comes with one soft drink. But the value doesn’t stop at the meal; customers also get unlimited access to swimming, relaxing in huts, using a playground, playing basketball, and beer pong.
