Taragis Admits ‘April Fools’ Prank’ Was Scripted

TARAGIS – The founder of the Takoyaki shop admitted that their April Fools’ challenge, which became popular on social media on April 1, 2024, was scripted.

To recall, people felt sorry for Ramil Albano, thinking he was tricked by Taragis Takoyaki Shop, which is owned by Carl Quion. However, he had a tattoo of the shop’s logo on his forehead since March 28, based on Quion’s revelation.

Quion shared this amid the potential consequences he might face from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), which was considering canceling their business name registration. He might also face charges for his marketing trick.

Some internet users also felt disappointed when they found out their sympathy for Albano was misplaced. “Grabe yung Taragis issue noh? Tapos ito ngayon w/ the “revelation” eme. Asking sorry again,” one netizen commented.

Meanwhile, netizens are unsure whether he will still receive the promised financial aid and free services from the following: P100,000 from Project Glow Up, P10,000 from Boss Philippines, P5,000 from Micchiatos Coffee, P1000 from PONG’s Buffalo, free services forever from Boss Suave Barbershop, an iPhone from GppPower GadgetShop, P5000 from Cartel Studio, P10,000 from ChizMozza, and cash and food from 3S Siblings Food House.
