Ramil Albano Allegedly Has Taragis Logo on his Forehead Since March

Before the April Fools Challenge, Ramil Albano Allegedly Had the Taragis Logo on his Forehead

RAMIL ALBANO – The man who got a tattoo of the Taragis logo on his forehead, found himself bombarded with more questions from online users following the spread of a video he posted in March on social media.

Albano became widely talked about on social media when he appeared to be a victim of a prank by the Taragis Takoyaki shop, owned by entrepreneur Carl Quion. On April 1, 2024, Taragis launched a challenge offering P100,000 to anyone willing to permanently tattoo their logo on their forehead, which was later revealed as an April Fool’s joke.

Kind-hearted individuals donated money to Albano, seeing him as a victim of a thoughtless prank. In fact, he will be receiving financial aid and free services from the following: P100,000 from Project Glow Up, P10,000 from Boss Philippines, P5,000 from Micchiatos Coffee, P1000 from PONG’s Buffalo, free services forever from Boss Suave Barbershop, an iPhone from GppPower GadgetShop, P5000 from Cartel Studio, P10,000 from ChizMozza, and cash and food from 3S Siblings Food House.

However, doubts grew among internet users over time. The latest evidence emerged when internet users found a video uploaded by Albano on March 28, showing the logo already on his forehead before Taragis announced their challenge.

This recent discovery caused a change in internet users’ opinion of Albano. Earlier, a netizen shared a video displaying Taragis owner, Carl Quion, interacting with Albano in an older video they had uploaded. Infamous social media personality, Xian Gaza, also posted a snapshot of their interaction with the caption: “magkakilala pala an’dami niyong pinadalang tulong hahaha.”

Meanwhile, Taragis is reportedly facing potential punishment from the Department of Trade and Industry due to their prank. Besides the potential cancellation of their business name registration, the DTI has also alerted other agencies to consider possible legal actions against Taragis.
