DENNIS TRILLO – The Kapuso actor poked fun at Tom Rodriguez by lip-syncing the latter’s cover of ‘Versace on the Floor’.

Tom went viral earlier after posting a video of himself on the video-sharing platform TikTok, singing to the tune of Bruno Mars’ hit single, “Versace on the Floor.” In the video, he can be seen trying his best to hit the high notes of the song.

“Versace on the Floor” is a song by American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars. It was released as the third single from his third studio album, “24K Magic,” in 2016. The song is a smooth R&B ballad that features Mars’ soulful vocals over a retro-inspired instrumental arrangement.

However, his cover elicited backlash from netizens. Some even called his rendition a “Mickey Mouse AI version.” Tom Rodriguez has already posted a reaction video to his song cover.

As of press time, his cover continues to make waves on the platform. While it still garners attention online, his friend Dennis Trillo poked fun at his cover by lip-syncing the song. He even wore a Minnie Mouse hairband while doing his impression.

To recall, Dennis Trillo and Tom Rodriguez became close when they starred in the drama romance series, “My Husband’s Lover,” which aired in 2013. It was the first gay-themed drama series in Philippine television and was created by Suzette Doctolero. Directed by Dominic Zapata, the series tells the story of Vincent Soriano, who is secretly gay, and his affair with his former male lover, Eric del Mundo, while hiding his sexuality from his wife, Lally Agatep-Soriano.

Because of their top-rating series, fans have been asking if there will be a sequel to “My Husband’s Lover,” which paved the way for the TomDen tandem.
