The Fight Scene of Bea Alonzo and Carla Abellana in “Widow’s War”
BEA ALONZO and CARLA ABELLANA – A fight scene between the two star-studded Kapuso stars has gone viral on social media.
Bea Alonzo, born Phylbert Angelli Ranollo Fagestrom on October 17, 1987, in Cainta, Rizal, Philippines, is a prominent Filipino actress renowned for her compelling performances in romantic drama films. Her notable works include “The Mistress” (2012), “A Second Chance” (2015), and “The Love Affair” (2015), among others.
Throughout her career, Alonzo has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to Philippine cinema. She renewed her contract with ABS-CBN in December 2011, leading to notable projects like “Sana Bukas pa ang Kahapon” (2014) and “Eerie” (2019). Additionally, she explored writing for film by enrolling in a workshop conducted by renowned screenwriter Ricky Lee. In 2021, Alonzo made headlines when she transferred to GMA Network after almost two decades with ABS-CBN.
On the other hand, Carla Angeline Reyes Abellana, born on June 12, 1986, in Manila, Philippines, is a prominent Filipino actress and model. She rose to fame for her portrayal of the lead character in the Philippine adaptation of the Mexican telenovela “Rosalinda.” Abellana has garnered acclaim for her diverse roles in various television series, including “Basahang Ginto,” “My Husband’s Lover,” “Because of You,” and “Stolen Life,” where she notably ventured into portraying an anti-heroine for the first time in her career.
Abellana’s career journey began with modeling assignments for various television commercials, eventually leading to her breakthrough in acting. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Rosalinda Perez/Paloma Dorantes, which catapulted her into the spotlight.

Meanwhile, “Widow’s War” is a spinoff of the popular murder-mystery series “Royal Blood” and “Widow’s Web.” It is directed by Zig Dulay, the director behind “Maria Clara at Ibarra” and the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2023 Best Picture “Firefly.”
