What happened after the intense scene of Maricel Soriano and Jodi Sta Maria?
Actresses Maricel Soriano and Jodi Sta Maria had an intense scene in the series Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin and this happened after the director said “cut”.
Maricel, as the Diamond Star in the Philippine entertainment industry, has become one of the icons when it comes to drama series and movies.
From her younger years until now, she showed superb acting in whatever role that might be given to her. This goes also to Jodi who is always showing her versatility.
The two actresses had the chance to work with each other, along with Iza Calzado and Sam Milby. Based on the article from Bandera, Maricel Soriano and Jodi Sta Maria had a very intense scene and it was not easy for them to snap out of their characters after that.
Direk FM Reyes, the director of the series, shared that after the said intense scene, he was not able to go to the next set up which he usually did. It was because he saw Jodi was still crying and shaking even after he said “cut”.
Jodi Sta Maria was into her character and when the director saw Maricel Soriano, the latter was also shaking. “Imagine the investment na ibinigay nila sa character nila,” Direk FM said.
The director also shared that Jodi and Iza’s pulling off the necklace scene was also intense. After that, Direk FM said that Iza was still shouting and shaking.
Meanwhile, in a recent presscon, Maricel showed her scars on her knee that were from a scene when she stumbled while running after the car of Jodi’s character.
Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin is now on its Book 2.
