Two days after their actual wedding the actor himself, shared the news that he and Ria Atayde had tied the knot, surprising fans of the pair. Ria and Zanjoe exchanged vows in a civil ceremony in Quezon City officiated by Mayor Joy Belmonte.
Zanjoe posted selected photos from their wedding on his social media account, revealing in the caption that it coincided with Ria Atayde’s 32nd birthday on March 23, 2024. Nice Print Photography, a photography studio, also shared more glimpses of the couple’s civil wedding on its Instagram page.
Zanjoe Marudo’s caption on his post read, “3.23.24 happy birthday my WIFE.” In the comment section of Zanjoe’s post, Ria Atayde’s sister Gela Atayde warmly welcomed Zanjoe into their family.
Following this, greetings poured in from friends and loved ones of both.

Seen having a great time with the groom were Joshua Garcia and Daniel Padilla, both known to be close friends of Zanjoe. In one video, Zanjoe and his friends could be seen singing along to the Village People’s hit “Y.M.C.A.,” eliciting laughter from netizens.
The Instagram post then transitions to a clip of Joshua and Daniel singing together, blending in with the music. It also includes a clip of Joshua singing alongside Zanjoe.
