HAN SO HEE – The management company of South Korean actress Han So Hee intends to pursue legal measures against harmful remarks.
Han So Hee, a South Korean actress renowned for her diverse roles in television dramas, was born on November 18, 1994, in Ulsan, South Korea, under the name Lee So Hee. First recognized for her supporting performances in series such as “Money Flower” (2017) and “100 Days My Prince” (2018), Han So Hee skyrocketed to fame with her breakout portrayal of Yeo Da Kyung in the acclaimed JTBC drama “The World of the Married” (2020), where she depicted a mistress embroiled in a tumultuous affair.
Her performance garnered widespread acclaim, cementing her status as a rising star in the Korean entertainment realm. Building on the success of “The World of the Married,” Han So Hee took on the lead role of Yoo Na Bi in the Netflix series “Nevertheless” (2021), adapted from the webtoon of the same name, showcasing a young woman navigating contemporary relationships. This series further solidified her reputation as a sought-after actress.
Han So Hee’s multifaceted talent and versatility have earned her numerous awards and endorsements, ensuring her prominence in Korean television and entertainment. In response to malicious and false rumors circulating about the actress, her talent agency, 9ato Entertainment, has issued a warning of potential legal action against those responsible.
Following her public acknowledgment of her relationship with “Reply 1988” actor Ryu Jun Yeol, Han So Hee faced criticism. On March 16, 2024, she detailed the beginnings of her special relationship with Ryu Jun Yeol on her blog. Even their shared vacation photos from Hawaii have sparked discussions.
Han Soo Hee clarified that she met Ryu Jun Yeol when he was single after his breakup with his long-time girlfriend, Hyeri. Despite this clarification, she was not spared from public scrutiny, with accusations emerging that she was dishonest and played a role in Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol’s separation. 9ato Entertainment, her talent agency, addressed these accusations, releasing a statement on March 18 condemning those spreading malicious information about Han So Hee.
“Hello. This is 9ato Entertainment.
“Han So Hee feels gratitude for the public’s attention that comes with her job as an actress, and she has worked to give back for the love and support of many people.
“However, being a human before being an actress, she is experiencing a very difficult time emotionally due to speculative posts and malicious comments that are being written indiscriminately.”
They added, “In relation to this, we will take strong action against those who write or circulate any malicious content that damages the reputation of our artist, regardless of the degree of its severity. Please report any additional tips to [email protected].
“Our company and the actress deeply reflect on the troubles caused to many people during the process of announcing her relationship.
