Ben&Ben Thrilled By Their Performance At Ed Sheeran’s Concert

Ed Sheeran captivated a packed audience during his Mathematics Tour in the Philippines on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Parañaque City’s SMDC Festival Grounds. Before performing Ben&Ben hit track, “Maybe the Night,” the English singer-songwriter invited vocalists Paolo and Miguel Benjamin to join him onstage.
The song gained widespread popularity in 2017 when it was featured as the theme for the romantic drama “Exes Baggage,” starring Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino.
The members of Ben&Ben remained thrilled about their collaboration with Ed Sheeran during the concert. The Filipino indie folk-pop band shared a backstage photo with Ed on Instagram, expressing their continued joy over their duet with the “Perfect” hitmaker.
“Grabe, we still can’t believe it. Para kaming nasa panaginip. We’re so grateful. We’re extremely happy. Sobrang kinikilig pa rin kami hanggang ngayon,” the band wrote.
They recounted memorable encounters with Ed, such as singing karaoke together, performing on his iconic round stage, and the highlight of the night, their duet of “Maybe the Night.”
“After our set, sinalubong niya kami backstage at kinamayan niya kaming lahat. Nakipag kwentuhan pa muna siya ng konti samin, na parang kaibigan lang namin,” they added.
Ben&Ben expressed that sharing the stage with “such a genuine and brilliant artist” is a “great honor,” and conversing with Ed surpasses their “wildest dreams.”
In conclusion, Ben&Ben extended their gratitude to everyone who listens to their music and their supporters, the Liwangas.
