ANDREA BRILLANTES – Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes penned a lengthy post about the death of the Golden Retriever Killua.
Andrea Brillantes expressed strong disapproval of the tragic death of Killua, a golden retriever residing in Bato, Camarines Sur. The incident, shared online by the dog’s owner, Vina Rachelle, garnered widespread attention.
Killua’s owner claimed that a man allegedly killed the dog, alleging aggression. Alongside Andrea, Sarah Geronimo, and Senators also condemned the killing.
Andrea recently took to Instagram to voice her thoughts on the matter. In a detailed post on Wednesday, March 20th, Andrea condemned the actions of Anthony Solares, held responsible for Killua’s demise.
The Kapamilya star emphasized the emotional capacity of animals, stating they deserve kindness and respect.
Andrea Brillantes also shared a story about rescuing another mistreated dog, Isla, paralleling Killua’s situation. She conveyed her condolences to Killua’s family, recognizing the gentle nature of Golden Retrievers despite not having met Killua personally.
“My heart goes out to Killua’s family and all those who have suffered the loss of a pet due to animal cruelty. Killua was a golden retriever. Although I never personally met him, I know that golden retrievers are typically sweet, kind, patient, and loving creatures. I can’t understand how Anthony Solares, the man who murdered Killua, could commit such an inhumane act. Not only did he kill Killua, but he also beat him to death with a pipe and stuffed him into a sack without any remorse. Are we just going to let these actions go unpunished? How many more pets have to suffer from animal cruelty and abuse? How many more pets have suffered the same fate without any CCTV footage to prove it?
“Killua and Isla are perfect examples of why our government needs to enact stronger laws to protect animals. Animal abusers in our country are far too comfortable and need to face much harsher punishments.”
