Internet persona Senyora has confirmed a breakup
SENYORA – The social media personality has confirmed a breakup between a showbiz couple.
Senyora Santibañez is an exploitable image of Chantal Andere, the main antagonist in the Mexican telenovela Marimar, portraying a snobbish and stereotypically arrogant Filipino hacienda owner. Following the success of Marimar’s remake, this character became a meme and an internet celebrity in the Philippines. She frequently shares her thoughts about politics and other issues, including show business.
In 2012, Senyora was voted as the best meme. On November 11, 2012, a Facebook fan page named Senyora Santibañez was created, later becoming known as Senyora. She boasts over 6 million followers on the said platform.
Earlier, Senyora confirmed a breakup between a showbiz couple. “Confirmed. Hiwalay na,” she said in her Facebook post.
Apparently, she didn’t immediately mention in the caption who she was referring to, but in the comment section, she revealed that it was none other than Kris Aquino and James Yap. “Nakakalungkot lang na hiwalay na si James at Kris. Stay strong Bimb,” she added. “The couple we failed to protect.” It appears that she’s just poking fun, as the two have been separated for years already.
Rumors about the status of Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque’s relationship are spreading on social media, sparking questions about a potential breakup and the status of their planned wedding. Concerns arose when people noticed Bea not wearing her engagement ring and Dominic turning off comments on his Instagram.
These rumors gained momentum after an interview at the OPPO Reno11 Series 5G launch, where Bea and Nadine Lustre were introduced as brand representatives. During the interview, the two showed excitement about the idea of working together on a project beyond their endorsement. When asked about wedding plans, Bea revealed that they hadn’t made any firm decisions yet.
