Passenger Goes Viral After Using P1,000 Bill He Found Inside Jeep to Feed Street Dwellers
KIND MAN – A male passenger found P1,000 under the seats of a public jeepney and used it to feed street dwellers.
Imagine finding P1,000 inside a jeepney. What would you do? For one passenger, heading home from work, it turned into an unexpected surprise.
Mico, a 23-year-old, was on his way home from work when he boarded a jeepney bound for Baclaran on January 31, 2024. At first, he hesitated to take the money. But he decided to stay on the jeepney until all the passengers got off.
He thought of different ways to get the P1,000 bill under the seat. When his plan to drop small change didn’t work, he simply changed seats and reached for it. Mico admitted he needed the money badly that day. He spent 24 hours thinking about what to do with the money.
Many people messaged him, claiming the money after he posted a video on social media. Eventually, Mico decided to use the money to buy food and give it to the people living on the streets. But Mico’s decision had a deeper reason.

At the age of 14, he lived on the streets for almost a year after a disagreement with his family. He tried various ways just to survive. Until someone helped him. Because of the hardships he faced, Mico chose to be a good person.
He has advice for people who might face similar situations like him. “Pag nakapulot ka, dapat pag-isipan mo 3 times kung saan mo dadalhin iyong pera na ‘yun,” Mico said.
