MISS UNIVERSE ORGANIZATION – The Miss Universe Organization released a statement in response to the controversial leaked video.
The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) has addressed allegations of deceit and manipulation surrounding the pageant’s results. These concerns stem from a video purportedly capturing a conversation between Anne Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip, known as Anne JKN, the owner of MUO, and Raul Rocha Cantu, a Mexican businessman and MUO shareholder.
Present at the meeting were seven others besides the two mentioned individuals. In the video’s audio, Anne is heard saying, “They can compete but they cannot win.”
Anne Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip’s remark refers to MUO’s decision to broaden the criteria for participants in the esteemed pageant. The previous Miss Universe contest marked a departure from convention by including candidates who varied from the traditional standards, such as married individuals, parents, those with diverse body types, and contestants older than usual.
MUO has asserted that the adjustments aimed to promote social inclusion and female empowerment within the 72-year-old pageant. However, Anne’s comment in the circulated video suggests that while such individuals are permitted to compete, their chances of winning are minimal from the outset. Consequently, doubts have arisen, casting a shadow over the credibility of the Miss Universe pageant in the public eye.

MUO’s response characterized the released video as a deliberate attempt to smear its reputation and manipulate perceptions of the organization’s members negatively.
