Gillian Vicencio Admits to Being Traumatized When Involved in KathNiel Breakup

Gillian Vicencio Speaks Out After Being Involved in KathNiel Breakup

GILLIAN VICENCIO – The actress admitted that she was hurt and traumatized when her name got dragged into the controversial breakup of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

Gillian was allegedly one of the women involved with Daniel while the actor was still in a relationship with Kathryn. The actress vehemently denied these accusations. In her interview with ABS-CBN News released yesterday, February 11, 2024, Gillian said she didn’t expect to receive such intense backlash over accusations that weren’t true.

Gillian also didn’t deny feeling traumatized, especially with the barrage of criticism thrown at her online. The Kapamilya actress said, “Hindi maiiwasan na makaramdam ka ng trauma. Kasi every time na you open the social media, ayun yung makikita mo. Hindi ko na matandaan yung pinakamasakit na comment kasi marami po. Siyempre maaapektuhan ka naman talaga. Hindi maganda ang mga sinasabi.”

Gillian said she never expected their friendship with Daniel and Kathryn to be ruined just like that. She said they were fine when they worked together on the ABS-CBN primetime series “2 Good 2 Be True,” until their relationship as Tox (Gillian) and Eloy (Daniel) was tainted by controversy.

When asked if she and Kathryn are now okay, she said: “Nag-message po ako sa kanya at hindi pa po kasi kami nagkikita ulit nang personal.” Gillian said she was further concerned when Kathryn unfollowed her on Instagram. Gillian also denied secretly communicating with Daniel without Kathryn’s knowledge.

Meanwhile, Gillian Vicencio is a Filipino actress and commercial model associated with Star Magic, the talent management arm of ABS-CBN.
