Daniel Padilla and Karla Estrada’s “utang” issue with the Bernardo family
UTANG? – A common friend of the former celebrity couple, Kathryn Bernardo, and Daniel Padilla, reportedly sent a message regarding the rumor that the latter owes money to the former’s family.
In the latest episode of the showbiz-oriented vlog “Oras ng Opinyon, Talakayan, at Diskusyon” or OOTD last Tuesday, January 30, host Jobert Sucaldito shared a private message he claimed to have received from a common friend of Kathryn and Daniel to clarify the said issue.
According to the message received by Jobert, Daniel’s mom, Karla Estrada, never owed money to Min Bernardo, the mother of Kathryn, and to the latter as well. The message further stated that the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C7, which was sold to a Pampanga-based buyer, is solely owned by the actor.
Regarding a branch of KFC, Kathryn allegedly doesn’t have a part in it as it is owned by Daniel’s family. Meanwhile, as for the house, it was decided more than a year ago to sell Karla’s house because she wanted to move to the South area.
To recall, during a segment of “Marisol Academy,” Mildred Bacud mentioned that Daniel allegedly lost four endorsements following his breakup with Kathryn. “‘Yung apat daw ha, supposedly na endorsement nilang dalawa ni Kathryn Bernardo, diumano ha, according to our source… ay kay Kathryn na lang daw ibinigay,” she said.
