CRISTY FERMIN – The showbiz columnist addressed Dominic Roque’s statement regarding the rumors she allegedly spread about him.
She clarified on her show that she never mentioned Dominic’s name or any hints when discussing the breakup rumors involving him and Bea Alonzo. “Mula nang salatin ko po ang isyu ng breakup ni Bea Alonzo at Dominic Roque, ni isang banggit po ng pangalan nitong si Mayor Bullet Jalosjos ay hindi ko binitawan kahit po initials kahit po clue tungkol sa kaniya, wala kayo nalaman mula sa akin,” she said.
Cristy Fermin expressed confusion as to why Mayor Bullet Jalosjos and Congressman Bong Suntay were brought into the conversation about the issue. “Napakalinaw po, wala po kaming sinabi na benefactor ni Dominic Roque itong si Ginoong Bong Suntay,” she emphasized. She stated, “Hindi ako ang hihingi sa ‘yo ng patawad, ni paumanhin, ipagdadamot dahil kahit minsan hindi ko sinabi na si Dominic Roque ay nakatira sa isang condo unit na pagmamay-ari ng isang baklang pulitiko.”
Suntay, the owner of the mentioned gasoline company, stated that he is consulting with his lawyers regarding the matter. Mayor Bullet is also considering legal action. The politician reiterated that he and Dominic have been friends for a long time.
Earlier, Dominic, through his lawyers at Fernandez & Singson Law Offices responded to the claims of Cristy Fermin. He apologized to those affected by the rumors surrounding his breakup with Bea, which he attributed to “the malicious, defamatory public innuendos of Ms. Fermin.” Dominic confirmed that Mayor Jalosjos owns the condo he’s renting but denied any financial support from him. He also denied the rumor about Suntay giving him a gas station.
Meanwhile, after Boy Abunda’s confirmation of Dominic and Bea’s split, there was widespread speculation about the reasons for their breakup. Dominic defended Bea, urging people to stop criticizing her. Boy cautioned the public to be mindful of their statements, particularly those based on speculation.
