Aiko Melendez: “Minessage ko baka pwede mag collab kami… Sumagot na sorry po di ako nakikipag collab po eh”
AIKO MELENDEZ – The actress-politician took to social media wherein she expressed dissatisfaction with a former colleague who consistently ignored her requests for collaboration.
In a Facebook post, Aiko mentioned that the individual had gained significant popularity in the vlogging community. Despite being friendly in person, Aiko was surprised by the vlogger’s refusal to collaborate, especially after attempting to contact them for three months.
Aiko shared her disappointment, saying, “Me chika ako syo mareng Senyora nakakaloka diba kung sino pa ung mga pinaka sikat na vlogger un pa ang napaka humble, at willing mag collab,” she said. “Samantala etong artista na naka work ko dati, minessage ko baka pwede mag collab kami. After so many attempts of messages…. Sumagot na sorry po di ako nakikipag collab po eh. Taray!!!” she added.
She acknowledged the possibility of the individual being busy, just like herself, but expressed her initial belief that they were friends since they had worked together before. Aiko took the situation in stride, saying, “Ok lang hihi. Baka naman busy talaga siya… Mas busy pa siya ke BIDEN.”
While Aiko refrained from revealing the identity of the individual, she advised them to remain humble. “Ang payo ko sa kanya. Ang kasikatan ng tao all temporary! Stay humble… Kung ano ang taas ng narating mo dapat siyang baba ng paa mo na nakatapak sa lupa. Kasi maliit lang ang mundo at bilog ito,” she concluded.
Meanwhile, Aiko Melendez, whose real name is Mary Aiko Shimoji Melendez, is an actress and politician. She currently serves as a councilor in Quezon City, representing the 5th district since 2022, a role she previously held in the 2nd District from 2001 to 2010. Aiko began her career as a child star in the early ’80s and later became a blockbuster leading lady in the ’80s and ’90s, working alongside top actors.
