Here’s the message of Aiko Melendez to a certain JP
AIKO MELENDEZ – The actress-politician took to social media wherein she expressed her disgust on a certain “JP.”
Aiko Melendez, whose real name is Mary Aiko Shimoji Melendez, is an actress and politician. She currently serves as a councilor in Quezon City, representing the 5th district since 2022, a role she previously held in the 2nd District from 2001 to 2010.
Aiko began her career as a child star in the early ’80s and later became a blockbuster leading lady in the ’80s and ’90s, working alongside top actors. Among her notable awards are recognitions from the International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema in London and the International Film Festival Manhattan in New York City. She has also received numerous accolades locally, including at the Metro Manila Film Festival and the PMPC Star Awards for Television.
Recently, she took to the social networking site Facebook to express her disappointment with a certain “JP.” In her post, she advised him not to be arrogant because he hasn’t proven anything in the industry yet. She hopes that “JP” will learn how to get along with others.
She reminded “JP” that just because he’s the lead doesn’t mean he should have an attitude. She suggested that he should attend a seminar first to learn how to be kind.
“DIOS MIO JP wag ka masyado mayabang… wala ka pa napapatunayan aa industriya para maging mayabang! Lord turuan nyo naman itong bagets na to matutong makisama. Di porke’t bida ka ay attitude ka. Very wrong! Seminar ka muna para maging mabait ka.”
Apparently, Aiko Melendez has deleted her post. However, entertainment website Fashion Pulis was able to secure a screenshot of her post.
