SUPREME COURT – The Supreme Court of the Philippines has announced the application period for the 2024 Bar examination.

In Bar Bulletin No. 2, the Office of the Bar Chairperson said that the application period for the 2024 Bar exam will be from January 15, 2024 to April 5, 2024.

According to the Office of the Bar Chairperson, new applicants or previous takers who do not have existing accounts on the BARISTA must create an individual account at https://barista.judiciary.gov.ph/.

In addition, the Office of the Bar Chairperson said that all Bar applicants are required to complete or update their respective profile, fill out the application form, upload or reupload digital copies of the documentary requirements, and pay PHP 12,800 application fee exclusively through the modes provided in the Bar Applicant Registration System and Tech Assistance (BARISTA).

The Office of the Bar Chairperson also said that Bar applicants must submit their printed application forms and other mandatory requirements to the Office of the Bar Confidant (OBC) within 10 calendar days from approval of the application.

Also, Bar applicants must upload their digital copies and submit the physical copies of the deferred documentary requirements to BARISTA and the OBC by October 15, 2024.

It was last month when the Office of the Bar Chairperson announced the schedule for the 2024 Bar exam.

In Bar Bulletin #1, the Office of the Bar Chairperson said that the 2024 Bar exam will be conducted on September 8, 11, and 15, 2024, with Associate Justice Mario Lopez as chairperson.
