Man Involved in 3 Road Rage Incidents Speaks Up

Jessi Virtudazo says he has ‘no regrets’ over road rage incidents

JESSI VIRTUDAZO – The controversial individual involved in three separate road rage incidents, participated in an exclusive interview with Frontline of News5.

During the interview, he rationalized that people tend to lose control when pushed to their limits. The initial incident occurred in Fairview in December, where he halted a passenger van and engaged in a dispute with the driver. The subsequent incident took place on January 4 in Fairview, this time involving a truck. The most recent occurrence transpired on January 12, involving the driver of a private vehicle.

Jessi clarified that he had no intention of causing harm to others. Furthermore, he expressed that he did not regret his actions. “Hindi naman ako magwa-wating ng ganyan kung walang dahilah eh,” he said.

Nevertheless, the man’s mother is reaching out to the public, providing insight into her son’s struggles with mental health. She clarified that her son, who lost his job at a call center in December, is grappling with depression, which she believes contributed to his confrontational behavior. To substantiate her claim, she presented documents detailing her son’s mental health challenges.

“Ayaw ko ngang magkaganyan siya dahil siyempre anak ko siya. Hindi siya nakakahiya, nakakaawa din,” the mother expressed. “Nagkakaganyan siya dahil sa depression yata dahil sa nawalan siya ng trabaho, call center kasi. Nitong December natanggal siya,” she added.

Expressing concern about her son’s public image, she stressed that he should not be viewed as disgraceful but rather as someone facing a difficult situation. She appealed to the drivers who encountered her son to take into account the circumstances and, if possible, to overlook the incidents, emphasizing that no harm was done.

“Sana wag nalang nilang pansinin kasi hindi naman sila nasaktan,” she urged. In a collaborative effort, the family is willing to cooperate with the LTO to address the issues stemming from the viral confrontations.
