MARK LEVISTE – The vice governor of Batangas vehemently denied false claims circulating about Kris Aquino’s supposed death shortly after the New Year, condemning those responsible for spreading the misinformation as “foolish, selfish, and idiotic.”
This response followed a fact-check report released by a news outlet on January 11, debunking claims of Aquino’s demise made in an Instagram post. The fact-check report featured a screenshot of a Facebook post asserting that Kris Aquino, often referred to as the Queen of All Media, passed away on January 3.
Mark Leviste, who is currently in the United States with Aquino in Orange County, where she resides, confirmed, “Kris is very much alive.” Expressing strong disapproval, Leviste labeled the creators of the fake news as foolish, selfish, and idiotic. He directly addressed the situation in the comments section, emphasizing the absurdity of the false claims and stating, “Whoever came up with this fake/false news is foolish, selfish and idiotic!”
In response to concerned netizens expressing their dismay over the proliferation of false claims about Aquino, Leviste urged them to focus on continuous prayers for her well-being. Despite their breakup in November, Leviste has been observed visiting Aquino at her US home, where she is receiving medical treatments for various autoimmune diseases.
