KATRINA HALILI – The “Black Rider” actress admitted that it wasn’t her dream to become an actress as she was a shy girl growing up..

The actress is the celebrity guest on the latest episode of “Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel” podcast on Spotify where she looked back on how she ended up as one of the talents in the Kapuso talent search “StarStruck”.

In an interview with Pia Arcangel, she shared that entering the showbiz industry in the country wasn’t part of her plans.

Despite fond memories of acting by herself, the actress said that in her wildest dreams she would never see herself being watched on the screen.

The actress also revealed that she didn’t audition to be part of one of the biggest reality talent shows at that time. Instead, she shared that she was cast while eating in a restaurant.

Katrina shared that her “maldita” persona was born out of her shyness, making her not participate in certain activities when she was starting in the show business.

While the first batch of StarStruck remained close to each other up to now, the actress said that she was initially drawn to just 2 artists who also shared the same “bad boy, bad girl” image in the Kapuso talent search.

Katrina’s “maldita” image would later on earn her the moniker “Primera Kontrabida” after assuming several antagonist roles IN “Marimar,” “Majika,” and “Darna.” The actress also top-billed the series “Magdusa Ka”.
