Isko Moreno: “Yung shake, it’s true… But, dishearten, no”
ISKO MORENO – The Tahanang Pinakamasaya host remains positive despite the legal battle faced by their noontime show formerly known as Eat Bulaga.
Following consecutive unfavorable decisions from the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) in the trademark and copyright infringement cases against TVJ (Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon), the show transitioned to its new title.
In an interview with PEP.ph on January 15, 2024, Isko was asked if he felt shaken or disheartened by the events. He acknowledged feeling shaken but emphasized the need to come up with better ideas. Despite the legal challenges, he expressed that they are in control of creating an energetic, more youthful, and family-oriented noontime show. Isko expressed gratitude for achieving this goal and emphasized the show’s family-oriented nature.
Regarding the criticism on the length of the new title, Isko disagreed, stating that Tahanang Pinakamasaya accurately represents the show, which caters to families. He mentioned positive feedback from viewers who readily associate the title with happiness and expressed gratitude for their support.
Isko shared his satisfaction with Tahanang Pinakamasaya’s TV ratings, ranking second after TVJ’s Eat Bulaga! and surpassing It’s Showtime on ABS-CBN. He thanked televiewers for their support and highlighted the show’s success in attracting advertisers, with ads lasting “35 to 45 minutes a day.”
Isko emphasized the importance of more job opportunities in the entertainment industry and encouraged a positive competition between different shows. He expressed gratitude to viewers, advertisers, and the industry, emphasizing the need to support each other while competing.
Regarding politics, Isko, who was mentioned in a senatorial survey for the 2025 elections, humorously declared himself “retired” from politics. He expressed gratitude to the Filipino people for their appreciation of his past leadership and stated that he is content and humbled by their support.
