Richard Gutierrez, a Filipino-American actor, comes from a prominent showbiz family, with his father being actor Eddie Gutierrez and his mother, Annabelle Rama. He gained recognition as the original “Fantaserye King” for his leading roles in popular television series such as “Mulawin,” “Sugo,” “Lupin,” and “La Luna Sangre.” In March 2020, Richard Gutierrez married actress Sarah Lahbati. The couple has two sons, Zion, born in 2013, and Kai, born in 2018.
On the other hand, Barbie Imperial, whose real name is Barbara Concina Imperial, is an actress, model, and dancer. She gained recognition in the entertainment industry after joining Pinoy Big Brother: 737 in 2015, where she was dubbed “The Doll along the Riles of Albay” due to her doll-like appearance.
She has since ventured into acting and has played various roles in television series such as “Araw Gabi,” where she had a breakthrough as the lead character Michelle Verano. Barbie Imperial has also appeared in Maalaala Mo Kaya, It’s Showtime, and other TV shows. In addition to her television career, she has taken on roles in films and music videos, showcasing her versatility as an artist in the Philippines.
The two are currently making rounds online after they were spotted together at a gastropub in Westgate, Alabang, Muntinlupa, on Saturday night, January 6, 2024. In a viral video, Richard and Barbie can be seen seated together at a table along with some friends.
Customers noticed that the two seemed to be comfortable with each other. “Bantay-sarado ni Chard si Barbie,” a source of PEP.ph said. The source also confirmed Richard’s gentlemanly behavior towards Barbie, stating that he allegedly assisted the actress when she went to the comfort room.
However, it is unclear what is going on between Richard and Barbie, who were former co-stars in the ABS-CBN teleserye FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. Meanwhile, the actor was previously linked to former Star Magic artist Kazel Kinouchi.
