Ara Mina Reflects On Past Conflict with Cristine Reyes

Ara Mina: “I want to teach her a lesson na hindi tama ‘yun, hindi dapat tayo nag-aaway”

ARA MINA – The veteran actress looked back on her past conflict with her younger sister, actress Cristine Reyes.

The veteran actress appeared on Monday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where she reflected on her past conflict with her sister.

It can be recalled that Ara filed a libel and grave coercion complaint against Cristine back in 2012, but the veteran actress later dropped the charges against her sister.

In an interview, the King of Talk asked the veteran actress about the time when she filed a case against her sister over a decade ago.

Ara said in an interview with talk show host Boy Abunda that she did it because she wanted to teach her sister a lesson. She added that she didn’t mean to proceed with the case as “blood is thicker than water”.

If we have something na kailangan pag-usapan dapat hindi na nalabas sa media, dapat inside na lang, kasi at the end of the day magkapatid pa rin kami,” she said.

The veteran actress also said that she didn’t want her sister to go to jail or something. According to her, the conflict ended when her sister came to her and apologized to her.

In the same interview, Ara Mina said that she and her sister are now on good terms and she’s happy for Cristine Reyes, who is currently in a relationship with actor Marco Gumabao.

It can be recalled that the veteran actress said in an interview during the recent press conference for the movie “Litrato” last July that it’s her choice not to get pregnant in 2023. But in an interview on “Magandang Buhay” last November 2023, she shared that she’s aiming to have a baby boy with her husband Dave Almarinez in 2024.
