Xian Gaza Gives Opinion on Melai Cantiveros’ Actions at AAA
XIAN GAZA – The social media personality was not pleased with TV host-actress Melai Cantiveros-Francisco.
Xian took to the social networking site Facebook on Friday, December 15, where he shared his sentiments about humor and being a joker. “Ang humor at pagiging joker ay mayroong limitasyon at inilalagay sa lugar. Kapag kasi nasobrahan sa maling venue ay magmumukhang tanga tapos iisipin ng ibang lahi ang mga artistang Pinoy ay aanga-anga at walang ka-class class,” Xian said.
Before posting his sentiments about humor, he had expressed his displeasure with Melai. “Ako lang ata yung hindi natawa kay Melai. Tumatanda na talaga ako,” he said.
During her acceptance speech, Melai Cantiveros brought laughter with her humorous remarks as she accepted the Best Actor Award at the 2023 Asia Artist Awards held in the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
Wearing an expansive pink gown, the ‘Magandang Buhay’ host took the AAA stage and joked, “If someone (questions) why I have (an) award, don’t worry. I question too. I just receive an award all my life from my mother and father when they are angry at me. Tonight, my heart is kuan. I think it’s because God moves in mysterious ways,” she quipped during her acceptance speech.
Before receiving her award, Melai Cantiveros said that she felt like a “first honor” and “valedictorian” for attending the Asia Artist Award 2023. “Attending AAA is a great honor. I feel like I am a first honor, a valedictorian in attending AAA,” Melai said when interviewed by emcee Jang Won-young of IVE.
The video clip of Melai’s speech quickly trended as many netizens found her words amusing. Meanwhile, the Asia Artist Awards (AAA) is an annual awards ceremony that aims to recognize and celebrate the remarkable accomplishments and global contributions of South Korean artists in the fields of television, film, and music across Asia.
