Shaila Rebortera to her daughter: “You’ve already made me the strongest and happiest mama in the world”
SHAILA REBORTERA – The Miss Multinational Philippines 2021 titleholder took to social media to share a message for her daughter Amelia as the latter turned 1 year old.
On Wednesday, she posted on her social media account a series of photos with her daughter from their recent photoshoot along with a heartfelt message for her daughter.
Shaila shared in the caption of her social media post that before her daughter came to her life, people always thought she was independent but she was actually most afraid of being alone.
According to her, she has always prayed for someone to spend the rest of her life with for years, and so God blessed her with her daughter. She went on to tell her daughter that a year with her and she has already made her the strongest and happiest mama in the world.
“In this life’s journey, it’s inevitable that you will meet people who may hurt you, but I promise you there will be more of us who will love you,” she said to her daughter. “Just when you’re made to feel unlovable, people will show up to prove to you otherwise – but most importantly, you must learn to do that for yourself too.”
Shaila went on to tell her daughter that she will make it her mission to show her how to be kind to herself so she may extend the same kindness to those who walks into her life.
She also prayed that she raise her daughter to be a good person – to fight for what is right, to apologize when she’s in the wrong, and to never lose her light and warmth as she share them with others.
Shaila ended her post by expressing her love to her daughter and also telling her that she’ll be there to be her “mama, papa, and best friend in one”.
Aside from this, the Miss Multinational Philippines 2021 titleholder also posted a video where her daughter can be seen taking her first steps, saying that she’s so happy to have gotten it on video.
Shaila’s partner Rob Gomez also shared a birthday message for their daughter, saying that he may not be there for the rest of her life but he promised to love her for the rest of his life. He also expressed his love for his daughter.
Amelia is the daughter of Shaila Rebortera and Rob Gomez.
