Sarah Lahbati is the New Unbothered Queen
SARAH LAHBATI – The wife of Richard Gutierrez liked the “waldasera,” “gastosera,” and “magastos” comments on her post.
Sarah Lahbati, a Swiss-Filipino actress and reality star, rose to fame as the Ultimate Female Survivor in the fifth season of StarStruck, a Philippine reality show aired on GMA Network. This success earned her a cash prize of P1.5 million and an exclusive contract with GMA Network.
Her initial appearance was in Hokus Pokus, playing the role of Bong Revilla’s daughter. Following her StarStruck triumph, she gained recognition for her roles in GMA Network’s drama series, such as Kokak (2011) and Makapiling Kang Muli (2012), where she starred alongside her real-life partner, Richard Gutierrez.
Beyond television, Sarah Lahbati has participated in significant projects like the ABS-CBN soap opera Written in Our Stars and the movie Darna, where she portrayed Valentina, the Goddess of Snakes. She also featured in the E! Philippines reality show It Takes Gutz To Be a Gutierrez.
She is married to actor Richard Gutierrez, and they tied the knot on March 14, 2020, in Taguig. The couple has two sons, Zion (born April 29, 2013), and Kai (born March 21, 2018). However, it seems that their relationship was on the rocks after Richard’s mother, Annabelle Rama, seemed to have confirmed their separation.
Annabelle mentioned in an interview with MJ Felipe that Richard is currently residing with her and alluded to Sarah’s extravagant spending habits, stating, “Nakikita mo naman, ‘di ba?… Si Richard trabaho nang trabaho, ‘yung isa nagwawaldas ng pera. ‘Yun lang ang masasabi ko diyan.”
Despite the negative remarks from Annabelle Rama, Sarah Lahbati remains unbothered. In fact, she recently liked the comments about her, stating she’s “waldasera,” “gastosera,” and “magastos.” As of press time, Richard and Sarah have yet to confirm if they have already broken up.
