RENDON LABADOR – The controversial social media personality is a proud “kuya” to Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo.
Kathryn made headlines after admitting in an Instagram post the end of her 11-year relationship with Daniel Padilla. Together, they form one of the biggest love teams in the country, KathNiel. Their separation generally affected many, especially the solid supporters of KathNiel. Among those who have been vocal about the breakup is none other than Rendon Labador.
Rendon has been vocal in expressing his support for Kathryn. In fact, in his latest Facebook stories, the motivational speaker is proud of being a “kuya” to the actress. “Proud kuya !!! (emoji) Ipakita mo sa pagmumuka niya kung ano yung sinayang niya.” Although he did not drop any names, he’s clearly referring to Daniel.
Meanwhile, it was on November 30 when Kathryn confirmed the end of her long-time relationship with her boyfriend Daniel Padilla. Sharing throwback photos and a heartfelt message on Instagram, she captioned it with “Chapter closed.” Daniel, in a subsequent Instagram post, shared a photo with Kathryn, expressing the significance of love in life.
Recently, KathNiel made their reunion during the ABS-CBN Christmas Special at the Big Dome. This marks their first appearance and performance together since their separation.
Their “reunion” excited the fans of KathNiel who only wished to see them together. Since the KathNiel era is already over, fans came up with a new tandem as they ship the ex-couple. DanRyn, a combination of the names Daniel and Kathryn, was born. As of press time, DanRyn is trending on Twitter with over 5K posts.
Some fans couldn’t help but express their happiness as they saw the former couple together. Others even felt ‘kilig’ with their undying chemistry. As of press time, KathNiel has yet to speak about their reunion.
